Literacy
The students who can least afford to lose the reading gains they have achieved during the school year fall the farthest behind over the summer break. Most struggling readers know that they struggle. And children at risk of literacy difficulties are less likely to learn words incidentally. They can easily feel defeated and begin to avoid books.
I help children build the foundation skills they need to move forward as proficient readers
